Compression test

The compression test is a material testing method . It is used to determine mechanical material properties under homogeneous, uniaxial compressive stresses.
Procedure: A cylindrical compression sample with a defined initial cross-section is compressed and the compressive force is measured. The result is shown in a compressive force-compression curve.
