Renewable energies: Products for the photovoltaic and wind power industry
Climate protection is one of the most pressing issues of our time and we at KREMER have long been working to deliver products that enable the optimal use of renewable energies.
The expansion of renewable energies is an important step towards greater sustainability. In order to become independent of fossil fuels as quickly as possible and to conserve valuable resources, the photovoltaic and wind power industry uses the latest technology. Systems for generating solar and wind energy must function optimally. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, we supply perfectly fittingprofiles, round caps and cast parts.
We offer tailor-made solutions made from selected materials for the renewable energy sector . Whether solar power or wind power – discover our wide range of products for photovoltaic and wind power systems.
Photovoltaics is booming – more and more companies and private households are relying on renewable energy generation and installing photovoltaic systems on their own roofs.
Solar panels or photovoltaic modules are attached using laminate clamps. KREMER produces UV and weather-resistant EPDM rubber profiles under its own brand Krevolan® and supplies them to the manufacturers of various fastening elements. To ensure that the panels do not slip or come loose, the laminate clamps and module center clamps must be provided with an anti-slip profile section. We can produce the geometries of the online extruded rubber pads in various sizes and lengths according to the customer's drawing and even deliver them equipped with self-adhesive film for quick assembly on site.

Enormous forces are at work when generating wind energy. Rotor blades of wind turbines are mounted on the generator using screw connections. Thick-walled PVC round caps from KREMER made from the material Krevosol® ensure that the screw connections of these components of a wind turbine are protected from environmental influences and, in particular, from damage.
Metal-reinforced buffer elements made of PVC Krevosol® are required in the generator housings of wind turbines. The great advantage of casting liquid plastisol over vulcanized rubber-metal compounds is the electrically insulating properties of PVC.
Further advantages of PVC:
- Robust
- Weatherproof
- Flame-retardant, self-extinguishing
- Electrically insulating
