PVC plastic caps straight from production
Our caps made of soft PVC Krevosol ® - also known under the general name Plastisol - are manufactured using the dipping process and have a hardness of 68 Shore A as standard. They are less pressure-resistant than injection-molded plastic caps and are therefore intended for applications in which there is no pressure load due to weight.
The PVC caps are therefore ideal for use as
- End cap round pipes or rectangular or square pipes or to seal them as
- Push-on cap to enclose surfaces worthy of protection such as threads or cutting edges of milling cutters and drills.
Theround caps offer reliable protection against injury, for example with self-tapping screws, and are suitable for semi-finished products such as rods or profiles. Thanks to their greater flexibility, they can be easily pulled over pipes and much more.
To ensure a firm and tight fit as well as good mountability, we recommend that the dimensions of the round caps be at least 0.5 to 1 mm smaller. With rectangular caps made of PVC we have adapted the dimensions of the tools to the standard dimensions of square-edged profiles.
