We all know it: it creaks here and there. Creaking noises occur wherever plastic parts come into contact with other plastic components. These noises are known in the trade as creaking or creaking, squeaking or rubbing and are of course not pleasant to hear.KREMER knows how these noises can be prevented. We specialise in the manufacture of anti-squeak profiles.
With our variable production system, we process different plastic profile cross-sections in combination with the materials (such as EPDM in accordance with VW2.8.1 or DBL 5571).
Under continuous process control, we supply precisely fitting profile lengths or process them into complex assemblies on request.
Anti-squeak profiles proven in vehicle construction
The requirements in vehicle construction are particularly high. The automotive industry in particular ensures that creaking noises are reliably avoided with the large number of profiles. We supply to vehicle manufacturers such as VW and AUDI and have been able to successfully utilise our knowledge of anti-squeak profiles here.
Complex task for anti-squeak profiles made of EPDM or TPE: They primarily equalise the gap dimensions and tolerances within the assemblies and thus prevent annoying creaking noises inside the vehicle.
Anti-squeak profiles can also be coated with bonded coatings or flock.
