Round caps with pull tabs facilitate disassembly
The round caps with pull tabs made of soft PVC made from Krevosol ® 6691 are manufactured by the manufacturer using the dipping process and are available as standard in a hardness of 68 Shore A. They are preferably used, for example, where a vacuum is formed when round steel is pulled off. The molded grip recess makes it much easier to hold and pull off.
However, when using longer round caps, the force required to remove them can be so high that disassembly is only possible if the vacuum is overcome or, better yet, avoided altogether . For this purpose, round caps or round caps with a pull tab are provided with a punched hole in a separate operation (optional) before delivery .
They offer protection against injuries and damage. The caps are produced using standard tools that are perfectly matched to the standardized round steel and round tubes, are easy to assemble and fit securely. Thanks to their flexibility, the caps can also be installed in smaller sizes, e.g. using an external thread.
What we pay attention to when choosing the dimensions/design of the diving parts
Whether caps ( round caps , rectangular caps ) are pushed onto an object (to protect cutting edges of drills, milling cutters, joints of electrical connectors, openings of valve seats and much more) or simply as a protective cap onto a piece of pipe, it is important that the immersion parts are manufactured to an undersize to ensure a tight fit .
As a rule, the diameters of dipped soft PVC round caps should be chosen to be approximately 0.5 to 1 mm smaller so that a tight fit is achieved and the cap does not come off the product to be protected too easily or even come off due to vibrations during transport.

The standard PVC material for the production of standardized round cap and rectangular cap dimensions as well as for customized dipped parts with the standard hardness 68 Shore A for easy assembly. Dipping tanks in all 8 standard colors are always available for production.
UPON REQUEST
Increased UV and ozone resistance can be achieved by optionally adding agents. However, this only applies to the colors black RAL 9005 and red RAL 3000.
