Integrated quality and environmental management system
We work every day to optimise the quality of our products and their possible uses, while at the same time conserving resources. Ongoing training and sensitisation to the environment are a matter of course for us. Only those who are well informed about new products, manufacturing processes and materials and are aware of market developments can meet the high performance requirements in terms of quality and the environment.
Since 1998, our quality management system has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and since 2004 in conjunction with the environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 as an integrated management system.
Our certifications
Quality assurance is immensely important to us in order to demonstrate transparency to our customers and build trust. Regular audits have been carried out, evaluated and certified since 1998. At that time, KREMER GmbH was already certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001, a standard that applies to the manufacture and sale of seals, moulded parts, O-rings, profiles, flat gaskets and assemblies made of rubber, plastic and TPE.
This was followed in 2004 by certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 in the area of environmental management.

Quality policy
We understand quality to mean the fulfilment of customer requirements, expectations and wishes, both in terms of the product and the process. The quality of our products and services is of the utmost importance for the continued existence and growth of our company.
Our actions and endeavours are aimed at the continuous improvement of all our products, services and processes - because the better is the enemy of the good.
Environmental policy
The fulfilment of the relevant legal and official requirements as well as the requirements and expectations of internal and external interested parties determine our actions. We are committed to minimising waste, emissions and conserving resources.
Internal and external information, communication and further training with regard to environmental protection aspects are of particular importance to us. We therefore promote a sense of responsibility for the environment at all levels of our organisation.
Environmental goals of KREMER GmbH
KREMER GmbH pursues the goal of reducing the consumption of energy (gas, electricity) for heating and for operating machines and systems as well as the consumption of the natural resource water, which is primarily required for washing elastomer products. The return of unmixed materials for reprocessing/recycling and the reduction of mixed waste volumes are further components of our environmental goals on the way to becoming a sustainable company. In order to achieve these goals, we involve not only our employees but also our suppliers and, to an appropriate extent, our customers.
We use 100% electricity from renewable sources!
Reuse of packaging material
Cardboard boxes are not necessarily replaced or disposed of after a single use. If a cardboard box is not damaged, it is reused. Old parcel labels are removed and any cushioning material (foam, air cushions, etc.) is collected and reused if necessary.

Use of reusable pallets
Disposable pallets are only used in exceptional cases or if the customer has special requirements. As a general rule, we endeavour to ship on Euro pallets. Lattice boxes and KLTs (small load carriers) are much too heavy in relation to the consignment of goods and would cause increased transport costs as well as more CO2 emissions.

Well on the way to a paperless office
The documentation and archiving of individual processes/orders is now only carried out digitally and centrally in the materials management system. Tax-relevant documents are archived digitally and cannot be changed. Printouts are only made when absolutely necessary

Reduction of CO2
Collective deliveries from suppliers and CO2-neutral shipping
Our suppliers are encouraged to make collective deliveries. This enables us to make a contribution to reducing CO2 and relieving the burden on transit traffic. Our parcel shipping is also primarily carried out by a company with CO2-neutral shipping.

Save water by using waterless urinals from Urimat
According to the manufacturer, at least 100,000 litres of drinking water can be saved per urinal every year. Approx. 175g of CO2 is saved per cubic metre of water.

Reduction of power consumption
Saving electricity through hall lighting with LED lamps and by switching off standby power. In addition, by reducing server structures and eliminating large workstation computers.

Water dispenser
Water dispensers for carbonated and non-carbonated drinking water reduce the consumption of PET bottles and disposable drinks.

Sustainable disposal
Choosing a certified supplier in our immediate vicinity ensures that our pre-sorted waste is properly disposed of and, where possible, reused through recycling. On our websites, we provide specific information on the disposal and waste code of the products we manufacture and supply.

Compliance with legal regulations on environmental and health protection
At KREMER, we take environmental protection and the safety of both our own employees and our customers very seriously. Compliance with the legal regulations that are imposed on us during production is a matter of course for us.

- Substances with hormone-like substances
- toxic substances that are difficult to break down and can also accumulate in plants or animals.
The SVHC list is updated every six months (end of June and end of December).
Every European supplier must independently inform the trade whether substances of concern are contained in the articles in relevant concentrations (> 0.1%).
As a distributor, there is an obligation to respond to a customer enquiry free of charge within 45 days. The obligation to provide information also applies to articles that were manufactured before the REACH Regulation came into force (1 June 2007).
