The floor boards are connected with KREMER O-rings and soft ties/cable ties so that the handcart can be folded or unfolded at any time. The 8 x 5 mm O-rings made of EPDM serve as spacers between the folding floor boards.

The outdoor use of the handcart places corresponding demands on the material of the O-rings, as they must be resistant to wind and weather. EPDM is resistant to ozone, weathering and ageing and can withstand high heat and hot water vapour.
