PVC dipped part in alphorn look
For a customer in the building materials industry, KREMER has manufactured a large PVC dipped part that facilitates the production of building materials thanks to its special shape and the material used.
The production of building materials containing gypsum places high quality demands on the equipment used: During further processing of the still liquid gypsum, a laminar, turbulence-free mass flow must be created. To prevent air inclusions in the finished product, interfering edges or coarse surface defects must be avoided in the entire processing system and especially in this large PVC dipped part.
Solution for building material production
Our customised PVC dipped part is precisely adapted to these requirements of the construction industry. It is "only 1.1 metres long", has the shape of an alphorn and is the largest possible length that we can produce using the dipping process with our processing machines. In contrast to the well-known alpine wind instrument, however, the PVC dipped part has two pipes through which the mass flows, and in the opposite direction. The mass is distributed to two processing lines via the flexible pipe attachments. The annual requirement can easily be counted on one hand.
