PVC gives the wind industry a tailwind
Wind power is to be expanded at a faster pace in the future. Appropriate protective measures are required to ensure that wind turbines run smoothly. The material PVC Krevosol® is ideal for this because it is robust, weather-resistant, flame-retardant, electrically insulating and easy to clean.
The safety helmet for screw heads
Very sturdy PVC round caps from KREMER with significantly thicker walls than standard round caps are used to cover the screw heads inside the windmills with which the rotor blades are mounted on the generator. This is where the caps really start to rotate. PVC cast parts, some with metal inserts, complete our portfolio for the wind industry. The electrical insulation properties of PVC and the cost-effective production of casting moulds, particularly for small and medium-sized series quantities, are crucial for cast parts.
The energy transition is more topical than ever: we manufacture the corresponding products for wind power technology precisely according to your specifications and requirements.
