Modern recycling technology for electronic waste

The recycling industry plays a crucial role in the sustainable management of electrical and electronic waste. URT Umwelt- und Recyclingtechnik GmbH, based in Karlstadt, takes care of professional disposal: The company designs machines and recycling systems in accordance with the European regulation WEEE (Waste of Electric and Electronical Equipment), which are used worldwide. Under the motto "Professional removal of harmful substances with efficient recovery of recyclable materials", URT enables the professional disposal of electronic waste.

Reliable, user-friendly solutions

The gaskets supplied by KREMER are an important component of these state-of-the-art systems. KREMER provides URT with more than 60 gaskets in various materials and sizes. The reliability of these seals depends not only on the quality of the materials, but also on the machining processes used. For URT's solutions, KREMER mainly uses water jet-cut variants to achieve optimum results. These include numerous flat gaskets made from pressed cork, the largest of which measures over 2 metres and is made up of several parts with a puzzle connection. This innovative design not only ensures efficient sealing, but also easy handling.

Innovation for the future

In addition to the flat gaskets, KREMER supplies various sealing rings, frame gaskets and blanks made of plastic (PTFE) and rubber (EPDM, EPDM cellular rubber and FKM) for URT systems. With its wide range of sealing solutions, KREMER supports its customers in effectively coping with the variety of requirements that arise in recycling plants.

Innovative and forward-looking co-operation between companies in the interests of environmental protection is an important step towards an environmentally friendly future in which electronic waste is handled responsibly and effectively.
