Five on tour - the destination of the K 2022 in Düsseldorf
The world's most important trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry took place from 19 October to 26 October 2022 and met the highest expectations.
The figures speak for themselves: 3037 exhibitors and 176,000 trade visitors - the proportion of international guests was 70% - i.e. from all over the world.
3 AZUBIS set off for Düsseldorf with their training supervisors.
The week before, they studied the manufacturing processes of injection moulding, injection blow moulding, blow moulding, extrusion and film production in theory.
and had thus laid the foundations for the trade fair visit training programme.
At K 2022, the second-year trainees visited the halls of the machine manufacturers: "Wow, what big machines those are!
I would never have thought that the production of films would require such a huge amount of space," said Marius Gutzmer, a commercial apprentice at KREMER. The young colleagues were amazed. Lots of high-tech, an incredible amount of automation, robot-controlled processes and all of this combined with the best possible energy utilisation. Even though it was a long day with a lot of impressions, the three trainees were thrilled and commented: "A g.... project!"
To ensure that this day trip to Düsseldorf makes a lasting contribution to the trainees' general knowledge, explanatory videos "Trainees explain..." will be produced afterwards and published on the KREMER blog.
