Compounding

Once the recipe for a rubber mixture (see also compound ) has been specified, the mixture can be manufactured . Rubber, filler, plasticizer, anti-aging agent and cross-linking chemicals are mixed homogeneously in the specified mixing ratio . The materials used determine the basic properties of the rubber mixture.
