Our customers come from a wide range of industries and some of them have very specialised requirements. One of our customers has a particularly sustainable project: he is building home power stations to generate and utilise his own energy. Domestic power stations enable a self-sufficient life independent of external energy supplies.

We supply five different self-adhesive seals made of PU polyurethane foam for a 50 cm wide component of a home power station. It is a closed-cell material in the colour anthracite with an adhesive film on one side as an assembly aid. The foamed material is characterised by excellent heat and cold insulation properties.

The blanks are made from sheet material. The special feature is that the self-adhesive film is applied to the sides of three of the five parts by hand. The annual requirement is around 15,000 sets (1 set = 7 parts, 5 different dimensions).
