There is a war in Ukraine and we want to help: This is why the co-working space Kinzig Valley 2 on the KREMER company premises in Wächtersbach, together with the co-working spaces Brick37 in Hanau, Kinzig Valley in Gelnhausen and THE ROOF in Maintal, is showing solidarity with the peace movement in Europe. We are opening all four spaces free of charge to aid projects and aid organisations so that help can be organised quickly for the people in Ukraine.
Space for aid projects
"In order to provide aid and connect people, we first need premises and office infrastructure to coordinate our activities," says Ahmet Cetiner from THE ROOF. For this reason, the co-working spaces are now available to anyone who is committed to helping people in Ukraine - whether project organisations collecting relief supplies, independent reporters or helpers in refugee aid.
"In addition to office infrastructure, space is also needed for the storage and handling of relief supplies. As the operator of Kinzig Valley 2, Hesse's first co-working space specialising in storage and logistics, KREMER GmbH is providing space," says Gregor Hämel from KREMER. "Pragmatic help is needed now!" says Bernd Weidmann from Kinzig Valley Gelnhausen.
Together against the war in Ukraine
In times of crisis, commitment and cohesion are most important. This requires places where the various helpers can coordinate and organise themselves. "This is the only way to optimally bundle all forces and provide effective support for the Ukrainians," says Daniel Loeber from Brick37. The co-working network in the Main-Kinzig district welcomes anyone who wants to organise aid campaigns for the people in the war zone.
