Waterjet cutting

This manufacturing method uses a water jet to cut soft materials such as rubber, cellular rubber, plastics, films and foams with great accuracy . The water is pumped through a nozzle at high pressure. The water jet cuts the material very precisely and, unlike punching soft materials, does not leave any concave cut surfaces. Water jet cutting is also an inexpensive method of creating prototypes without the need for complex toolmaking.
