Profile seal

Profile gaskets are made from synthetic rubber or thermoplastic elastomers and are used either to cover construction-related edges or to seal between construction elements. A common area of application is windows, doors and façades, where profile seals prevent the ingress of draughts and water and also play an important role in thermal insulation. They owe their name to their distinctive cross-sectional profile.
