Polyurethanes are plastics that are created by the so-called polyaddition process . Common applications for polyurethanes are foams, paints and adhesives as well as casting compounds. Mattresses, shoe soles, seals, floors, hoses, skis, car seats and dashboards can also be made from polyurethanes.
