H-NBR

H-NBR has very good mechanical properties, a significantly higher temperature resistance than NBR and is resistant to mineral oils, vegetable and animal oils and fats, flame-retardant oil in water emulsion (HFA liquid), water in oil emulsion (HFB liquid) and solution of polymers in water (HFC liquid). H-NBR is good for use with hot water, steam and the refrigerant R 134 A. Its ozone and weather resistance is good.

Temperature range : -40 to +150°C

Applications : H-NBR is often used in air conditioning systems when, for example, the refrigerant R134A is used. H-NBR is also used as a sealing material for lip rings or O-rings in the temperature range up to approx. +150 °C for mineral oils or hot water.

        Disposal

According to the “Regulation on the European Waste Catalogue (AVV)”, the waste product from H-NBR can be classified according to Chapter 7 “Wastes from organic chemical processes” and the waste code 07 02 99. This waste code stands for waste classified as non-hazardous.

They can therefore be disposed of in normal household quantities with normal household waste. Please use the container provided by your public waste disposal authority for residual waste as the appropriate disposal container.
