Cross-linking chemicals

Cross-linking is the process of connecting long molecular chains of rubber with suitable chemicals to form a net-like structure. Sulfur or peroxides are usually used for this. In order to achieve rapid cross-linking and thus short production cycles, so-called accelerators and activators are used in addition to cross-linking chemicals.
