PUR

Polyurethane elastomer

The polyurethane elastomers are divided into polyester urethanes (AU), which generally have better mechanical properties, and polyether urethanes (EU), which have better hydrolysis properties.

Both have excellent wear behavior, high tear resistance and elasticity and low gas permeability (comparable to IIR).

PUR has good resistance to mineral oils.

Temperature range : -40 to +90°C

Applications : Due to their good abrasion and extrusion resistance, PUR materials are often used in difficult operating conditions. We also have specially tailored compounds available for the requirements of the chemical and food industries. Special compounds are used in conjunction with water or aqueous solutions, such as flame-retardant oil in water emulsion (HFA liquid) and water in oil emulsion (HFB liquid).
